Simon Riley
About Me
I am Simon Riley, a therapist dedicated to supporting emotional wellbeing through creative and body-oriented approaches. My professional journey has been shaped by a longstanding interest in how early experiences, sensory processes, and relational dynamics influence psychological development.
I originally trained in [insert your initial qualification, e.g., counselling, psychotherapy, education, etc.] and went on to specialise in Clay Field Therapy, completing advanced training with [name of institute/trainer if relevant]. I have also pursued additional studies in mindfulness-based approaches, developmental trauma, and sensorimotor psychotherapy, integrating these perspectives into my practice.
Over the years, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults across a variety of settings, including therapeutic services, schools, and community organisations. This breadth of experience has deepened my belief in the power of non-verbal and creative processes to access healing where words may fall short.

A Personal Reflection
My commitment to this work is rooted in a personal understanding of the importance of being seen, heard, and met with genuine presence. I believe that meaningful change arises not from fixing or analysing, but from offering a space where a person’s embodied experience can unfold safely and at its own pace.
Working with clay as a therapeutic medium has shown me time and again how the body “remembers” and seeks integration — often long before the mind can articulate it. It is a privilege to accompany clients as they reconnect with their own inner resources, resilience, and creativity.
Outside of my clinical work, I am passionate about continuous learning and nature-based practices, all of which inform and nourish my therapeutic approach.
