Feel calmer in your body – without needing to talk
You may have tried talking about it already.
But still feel overwhelmed, shut down, disconnected, or stuck.
Clay Field Therapy® offers a different starting point.
Through touch, movement, and working directly with clay, many people find a sense of calm, regulation, and connection before words arrive.
No art skills.
No pressure to talk.
Just somewhere for your hands to begin.
Have You Tried Talking Therapy?
If you’ve attempted talking therapy but still find yourself feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or shut down, you’re not alone. Maybe you struggle to find the right words or simply feel drained from trying.
What Makes This Different?
Clay Field Therapy is all about connecting with your body. We use touch, pressure, and presence to help you find regulation, safety, and reconnection. You might have tried talking therapy…
How It Works
Imagine sitting at a clay field—a simple wooden box filled with clay, water, and the freedom to explore.
- You can close your eyes (if that feels right).
- Your hands begin to move, with no instructions or expectations.
- Through this tactile experience, your body starts to find its rhythm. Movement will spark a shift within you.
It’s less about thinking and more about experiencing.

CLAY FIELD THERAPY®
This is a body-based therapy that focuses on touch, rather than words. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected, this approach helps your body feel calmer, safer, and less stuck.

I felt really held, safe, and seen throughout the session…
I now feel able to introduce clay field to my clients.
Hi, I’m Simon Riley, therapist, supervisor and Clay Field Therapy practitioner with experience supporting children, adults, grief, trauma and complex emotional difficulties.
My passion lies in supporting those who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, helping them to express what they’re going through in words.
Through simple, tactile engagement, I assist clients in restoring a sense of safety, agency, and feeling more like yourself again.
This is not about analysis —
it’s about experiencing change directly.
You don’t need the right words to begin
